Nails & Screws
The most common flat by far. In the tread area and small enough, it is a repair.
Picked up a nail or a screw? Bring it in. If the tire can be safely repaired, we repair it rather than sell you a new one. If it cannot, we will show you why and fit a replacement the same day. Open seven days, Sunday included.
A nail in the middle of the tread is usually a repair. A cut in the sidewall never is. Where the damage sits decides it, and we check before we quote.

A tire that loses a few PSI a week usually has something in it, or a leaking bead or valve. We find it rather than just topping it up.
Cracked or leaking valve stems replaced, so the tire holds air again.
LT and load range E tires on HD trucks and duallys, and the big tires on lifted trucks, not just cars.
Sidewall damage, a hole too big to repair or a tire driven on flat means a replacement, and we stock new tires to fit it the same day.
Came in on the spare? We repair or replace the flat and put your spare back where it lives.

Where the puncture sits and how big it is decides whether it is safe to repair.
Repairable means repaired. Not repairable means we show you why before we talk about a new tire.
Aired to spec and torqued properly, seven days a week.
The middle of the tread, away from the shoulder, is where repairs are made.
The industry limit for a repair is a puncture of about a quarter of an inch or less.
Stop as soon as you notice. A tire driven flat crushes the inside and often cannot be saved.
The sidewall flexes every revolution, and a repair there cannot hold. No reputable shop will patch it.
Anything larger than about a quarter inch, or a gash rather than a puncture.
Heat and crushing damage the inner liner even when the outside looks fine.
Usually, yes, if the nail is in the tread area rather than the shoulder or sidewall and the hole is about a quarter of an inch or smaller. Bring it in and we will check where it sits before we quote anything.
Yes. We are open seven days: 8am to 7pm Monday through Saturday, and 9am to 5pm on Sunday. Call (817) 778-4800 so we know you are on the way.
No. The sidewall flexes constantly and a repair there will not hold, which makes it unsafe. A sidewall puncture means a new tire, and we will usually have one to fit the same day.
Not far. Driving on a flat or badly low tire damages it from the inside, often past the point of repair, and can damage the wheel. Put the spare on or call us first if you can.
Yes. HD trucks, duallys and the large tires on lifted trucks come through here every day, not just passenger cars.
It depends on how worn the others are and whether the truck is four-wheel drive, where mismatched tread depth can strain the drivetrain. We measure the tread and tell you honestly whether one tire is enough.
