Muffler Replacement
The most common job. A blown muffler is loud, and on a daily driver it gets old fast.
Blown muffler, rusted pipe, a rattle underneath, or you just want the truck to sound like something. We repair exhaust and we build it — and we will tell you honestly which one your vehicle needs.
Two very different jobs that arrive through the same door. Both start with getting the vehicle up and actually looking at the system.
The most common job. A blown muffler is loud, and on a daily driver it gets old fast.
Cracked pipe, failed gasket or a rotted joint. A leak ahead of the cabin is a reason to fix it now.
Texas is kinder than the salt belt, but pipes still rot. We replace the section rather than the whole system where we can.
That knock over bumps is often a five-minute hanger, not an exhaust system.
Want it to sound right? Tell us the tone you are after and we will spec it.
The visible part. Sized and positioned to suit the truck rather than just bolted on.
Loud, rattling, droning at highway speed, or nothing wrong and you just want more sound.
We look at the whole system. Often the fix is one section, not everything.
Repair or replace, with the reasoning. You choose.
Sealed, hung properly and checked for rattles before it goes back out.
If the rest of the system is solid, replacing the rotted piece is the sensible fix.
Cheap, quick, and it makes the noise go away completely.
Frequently the entire cause of a rattle people assume is a dead muffler.
Patching a system that is failing all over just means you are back in a month.
Once the internals have collapsed there is nothing to repair.
Then it is a build, not a repair, and we spec it for the tone you want.
It depends on the vehicle and whether it needs a muffler, a section of pipe or the whole system. We get it on the lift and quote what it actually needs. Call (817) 778-4800.
It can be. A leak ahead of the cabin can let fumes in, which is a reason to get it looked at quickly rather than living with the noise.
Yes. Tell us the tone you want, because "louder" covers a deep rumble and an obnoxious drone at 70mph, and those are different builds. We will steer you away from the one you would regret.
Most often a broken or stretched hanger letting the system knock against the underside. It is usually a quick, cheap fix, so worth checking before assuming the worst.
Yes, and lifting can change how the system sits and where the tips end up. If we lifted the truck we already know how it is routed.
