Full Synthetic
What most modern engines specify, and what a turbocharged or towing engine wants. Longer intervals, better heat tolerance.
Conventional, synthetic blend or full synthetic, with the right filter and the right grade for your engine. And while it is up on the lift, an actual look at the rest of it — not a checklist someone ticked in the waiting room.
The oil is the easy part. The value is having someone who works on trucks all day glance at the rest while the vehicle is already in the air.

The middle option for older engines that do not need full synthetic but deserve better than basic.
Still right for some older, higher-mileage engines. We use what the manufacturer calls for.
Right filter, right viscosity. Putting the wrong grade in a modern engine is not a small thing.
Coolant, washer, power steering and brake fluid checked and topped while we are there.
Tread depth, pressures and a look at the pads. We are a tire shop first, so we actually notice.
Tell us the vehicle and mileage, and whether it takes synthetic.
Correct grade and a new filter, filled to spec rather than to the top of the range.
Fluids, tires, pressures and brakes while it is on the lift. You get told what we saw.
Usually the fastest job in the shop.
Most engines built in the last decade specify it, and it is not a suggestion.
Load means heat, and heat is exactly what breaks conventional oil down.
Fewer changes over a year, which usually offsets the price per change.
Plenty of older trucks were designed around it and run perfectly well on it.
A high-mileage conventional can suit an older engine better than a thin synthetic.
We follow what the manufacturer specified, not what has the best margin.
It depends on the vehicle and whether it takes conventional, blend or full synthetic, and how many quarts it holds. A diesel truck and a sedan are not close. Call (817) 778-4800 for a number.
Follow the manual for your vehicle. Broadly, conventional wants changing more often than full synthetic, and towing, short trips and Texas summer heat all shorten the interval.
Call and tell us the truck. Diesels take a lot more oil and a different filter, so we will confirm what we have on hand before you drive over.
Call ahead and we will tell you the best time. It is the quickest job we do, but we would rather not have you sitting behind a lift kit.
Yes. Fluids, tire pressures, tread depth and a look at the brakes while it is on the lift. If something needs attention we tell you; we do not quietly add it to the bill.
