Check The Hardware
Worn tie rods, ball joints or bushings will not hold an alignment. We tell you before we set it, not after.

Set It
To factory spec, or to the corrected spec a lifted or lowered truck actually needs.

Road Test
It leaves tracking straight with the wheel centred, or it comes back on the rack.

Why Lifted Trucks Are Different
Caster goes away
Lifting pulls caster out, and the truck starts wandering at highway speed. Correcting it takes the right parts, not just a toe adjustment.
Factory spec is wrong
A 6 inch truck aligned to stock numbers will still wear tires. It needs the corrected spec.
Some shops decline it
We do lifted alignments every week. It is most of what comes through the rack here.
Why Lowered Cars Are Different
Camber goes negative
Drop a vehicle and the tops of the wheels tuck in. The inside edge of the tire pays for it.
Adjustment range runs out
Past a certain drop you need camber bolts or arms to get back in spec. We will tell you which.
It still has to track
Low and straight is the goal. Low and darting around is a bad alignment.

How often should I get an alignment?
Once a year is a reasonable habit, and any time you fit new tires, change ride height, or hit something hard enough to make you wince.
Can you align a lifted truck?
Yes, and we do it constantly. Lifted alignments need corrected specs and sometimes adjustable parts to get caster back, which is exactly the work this shop does.
Do you align lowered cars?
Yes. Past a certain drop it needs camber bolts or adjustable arms to come back into spec, and we will tell you up front if yours does.
Is alignment included when I buy tires?
We recommend it with every new set and it is part of every suspension job we do, because skipping it is what kills a brand new set of tires. Ask when you get your quote.
